A typical day begins in a peaceful Tahitian town, nestled beneath lush jungle-covered mountains. The boat, already waiting at the dock, will be your home base for the adventure. You’ll set out in search of the elusive dogtooth tuna and fast-moving wahoo, with the option to start with a warm-up day on the reef. Expect to dive deep for dogtooth tuna, refining your water hunting skills as you pursue these prized fish. After a successful day on the water, return to unwind and savor a freshly prepared dinner made from your day’s catch. Gear up with a 3mm wetsuit, your tuna and reef guns, extra shafts, float lines, floats, mask, snorkel, belt, and fins—and get ready for a journey filled with adrenaline, natural beauty, and unforgettable moments.

Your stay will be in a cozy Tahitian home, just a short walk through a charming local town to the dock. The house is the perfect place to relax after a day on the water, with an ocean-view deck where you can unwind and swap dive stories while taking in the sunset. Dinners will feature the day’s catch, other meals may feature local produce or traditional Tahitian dishes. To get the most out of this trip, ensure you’re in shape and prepared to take deeper drops when chasing dogtooth tuna. We recommend staying for at least three days of fishing, giving you the best chance at landing a prized tuna or wahoo. After all, fish can be elusive, and the more time you spend on the water, the better your odds.
